This post is dedicated to every Legacy wheel and tire thread posted on the "other" site, where the general consensus is "you can't go wider than a 215 on a 7.5 wheel, you'll probably still rub...."

235/40/17 Hankook Ventus RS2's on 17x8 Rota Boosts. No rubbing

Anyone who knows me knows this thread should have a 56k warining......on that note, some pics I snapped tonight at the pretty end of my neighborhood. I hate my commute, but I can't complain about the view

Only new mods are the '05 WRX seats, which sit super-high; they're even higher than bugeye seats in the BG's, and if I didn't have the raised OB roof, I couldn't even use them. As it is, I look like Lurch driving the car, but my stockers were giving up the ghost after 220k, and these hold me in a lot better.

Onto new pics!

I can never get decent interior shots for some reason, so that'll have to do.
The outside ones came out a lot better

Those are the stock leather panels. I've never kept a set of seats long enough to justify changing them (case in point, I'm selling the WRX seats, as they just sit too high for me.)

So what's new? I'm keeping the car. Long story short, I couldn't let it go, and I'll keep it and maybe add an STi to the stable down the road a bit to boot.

So, I swapped seats again. Recaro SRD on the driver's side, and a bugeye WRX seat for the passenger until I can track down a matching SRD/Speed for cheap.

****e pic, ignore the high seating position and spacers, it's dropped down onto the floor now with OEM Recaro plastic trim as well for a much cleaner look:

Swapped out the clear 500's for an amber set with amber rockblocker on them as well, for a killer winter light that will pick out stuff in rain and fog.

Got hooked up by a local club guy in a drop-in HID setup for my Morettes, so my low-beams now have some nice 6k HID action. I actually had the car clean for once, and the light was killer this morning, so I snapped some pictures around the corner from the house since I'll be swapping to new wheels for the winter soon, and I wanted to get some nice shots with the gold.

Moar pics! (56k, run while you still can)

I think I'm finally happy with the exterior, though a pending GB on CF hoods might make me do something stupid, since the paint on the hood is demolished and half-gone anyways.

Oh, and because it's me, I sold the Superleggeras and the SDR's, and picked up a set of black STi BBS's for winter. Cant' wait to see how they look

Small update.......popped the motor (yay phase 1 EJ25's!) and am currently working on gettign a JDM longblock in place. I think I'm going to keep this thing my NA daily driver and have the STi as the fast car. Famous last words.

Anyways, not too bad for 240k hard, hard, hard miles
