These were an option on JDM STi's and are highly sought after. If you are lucky enough to have a set, please post your responses, but I doubt many people have/have had them. They are Recaro's covered in matching blue and black STi interior from Subaru Japan. A true gem for Subaru enthusiasts, real JDM goodness here and it doesn't get much better than this. You will not be able to buy these even if you want to, this is just an opportunity that I am happy to open up to some mature Subaru owners. I am only selling because I am struggling to pay for my tuition at UCSD :cry:, could sell these or take out a small loan. Also the reason I have so many other parts for sale.

Wow, how disappointing that a guy who calls himself a Subie enthusiast would sink to this level! Next time you want to defraud your fellow members, maybe you should be a little more clever.
If you felt your access to information was worth profiting from, then you could have said that you have an opportunity to sell these seats even though they are not in your possession instead of making up complete lies!!!!!!!!
[b]For the record, the OP doesn't yet own these seats. I am running the auction and the seats are not in San Diego, they are currently in the San Fernando Valley.
He is attempting to either:
1) get you to send him money that he can run off and do as he wants, i.e. pay bills; OR
3) get you to pay him for seats that he not only doesn't own but also are not in his possession as he states, and he will run off with your money; OR
3) get you to finance the purchase of the seats (which he doesn't own or have an exclusive contract to buy) so he can profit by pocketing the difference between the auction's end price and what you are willing to pay.
This is RIDICULOUS! You are willing to risk your reputation in the community over something like this?
To defend yourself, you can argue that you simply stated you had an opportunity to sell these:

It would be wrong for you to take money from anybody under any of the lies you have perpetrated!!! I often read of members of our beloved community (IWSTI.com, RS25.com, Nasioc.com, I-club.com, SoCalSubies.com, or NorCalSubies.com among many others), who complain of people who they have paid for parts sold on the forums. Unfortunately, they didn't do enough to protect themselves and the person who took their money either left town or makes up some bullsh!t story about how they used the money to pay rent, fix their car, or pay medical bills, or WORSE, they never had the parts to begin!
We hate those people. I am not saying you would do that, but had you found yourself in a bind and you had this extra money on hand, then could do that.
But Would you do that? I don't know, but I do know what you did here is exactly what the people who we label as scammers have done in the past. And this is exactly how those scammer stories start out.
Fortunately, subie enthusiasts support one another and someone tipped me off to what you were trying to do, so we prevented the second half of the story from happening. Maybe we stopped a scam in its tracks, maybe you made a mistake, but you owe everyone in the Subaru community (at least on this forum) an apology for trying to sell something you didn't own nor did you have possession of in spite of telling them that you did!

I think he saw an opportunity to maybe make some money and he went for it. and this thread was just a little premature. He obviously thought he was going to win the auction for them. Without supporting, or condoning, I understand.
But this is a small tight community, so you should expect something like this to blow up in your face. It happens..
