WTT: my tinted rear windows for your untinted or lightly tinted rear windows
I have some pretty dark tinted windows in the rear and once again i'm bored with my car's look and am trying to find new ways to change it up. This week, it's windows...go figure.
Anyways, these are 3M tinted by a reputable and quality installer. They look great inside and out. I think they like 10-20% tint? I don't remember exactly, but I paid around $200 for it all.
Anyways, they're up for a straight trade...save you guys money if you're thinking of getting tint. It's only the rear side windows unless you can swap the rear glass easily as well. I'm in Sonora, but go to the bay often and can swap there.

I just did mine friday but i used goo gone instead of Windex since i didn't have any ammonia based cleaning supplies. You just need the razor blades to get it started, i used 4 total 2 to get it started and 2 to scrap off the residue. If you heat up the tint enough it will peel off in one piece or two if you do it right. I only had two small parts, about 2x1/2inch streaks, left over of adhesive and i just used goo gone and a razor blade to get ride of it.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I watched a few vids on tint removal and some make it look easy and others the opposite. The rear will be the most difficult though I think since I have the defroster lines.
If no one wants to trade and save a few bucks on tint, then I will more than likely just remove it. Just throwing it out there since I'm pretty freugal myself these days that maybe someone else can benefit to.

yeah winddex helps a lot its the Ammonia in it that's doing the work you can do this trick with the back that helps a lot makes the tent just fall off cut some plastic garbage bags and tape them to the window in a matter that will condensation in spray liberally with windex and then let sit. also helps to be warm so that the evaporation from the Ammonia will do the work it you should notice it bubbling off

The rear window is indeed a ***** to de-tint with not enough hot days during the winter to do the windex/ammonia bag trick.
All the other windows are 10min from first slice to clean-up.
