Everyone keeps saying that lol! Thanks for the luck though!
If this doesn't sell, I'm just keeping it. I want another Subaru with this in it, maybe a VF36 or if I can adapt a VF38 turbine...

VF38
Twin scroll turbo with titanium turbine and shaft. Smaller compressor housing than VF36/VF37 provides tremendous spool up capabilities but less top end than VF36/37. The spool capabilities of this turbo are demonstrated on the JDM Legacy GT, which reaches peak torque at 2400RPM.

this just keeps sitting here! nagging at me that heatshields exist so close, yet so far.
EDIT: no splitting? does the DP still have a cat? might take all but turbo/bracket.

DP still has a cat.
But looks like it way be going, just waiting to hear back.
Like I said, check a JDM importer and go from there. A lot of guys may want an EJ207 motor, but eschew the stock turbo et al in favor of something that gives more horsepower, which is fine and dandy, but not what the VF37 is about, and that's not just Miata talk ("I like my 110HP!") - not to say you can't get 300 or more wheel horse out of it.
