FS: Rebuilt VF39

Bought the turbo with a bunch of shaft play, but the housings and fins were in great shape.

Tore it down, cleaned it, and installed new bearings and seals. Sealed it up and it feels like a dream.

$425 plus shipping.

I thought vf39s weren't rebuildable? that's what ive read. someone please confirm or correct if im wrong? thanks!

A couple companies make a kit. I used a name brand- probably the same stuff six star uses.

Fwiw I am currently spinning a vf43 that I rebuilt myself in the same manner. It made quite nearly 300 wheel hp and has been holding 18 psi with absolutely zero issues. And zero complaints about other turbos I have rebuilt.
