Non-noob is noob to suby repair scene in the area, recommend a shop?
Hi all, always been a patron of Kspeed up here in Reno ( I live up in Truckee) but it appears theyve had to close their doors. Got some work I need done, and Im wondering what shops are around for good subaru repair and diagnoses.
Car: 2006 WRX wagon
Need done: Install 2 front D-specs (warrantied) and have both front balljoints done, plus alignment. Also have been trying to diagnose an engine miss/stumble as well. Stock engine, no mods underhood or out the back.
Can anyone recommend a shop? Im through Sac area frequently as my GF lives in Livermore currently, so Im able to dump my car off at nearly any shop between Tahoe and CoCo county.

I go to A&C auto in Sacramento. The prices are very fair and the mechanic Bryce there is the only person other than my tuner I trust to touch my car. They are very thorough, take their time, and treat the cars they service like their own.

Hey brother, give My Auto Surgeon (MAS) a call and ask for Justin; let him know Will sent you. He will take care of you. The guys at MAS are extremely knowledgeable, honest, detail oriented, and exceptional at what they do. They work on all my cars, including my STI that i race. Justin's guys do all the alignments, corner balancing, repairs, and installs. They actually just got done installing a set of Tomei ELHs and UP along with a whole brake replacement. They even have a Subaru specific mechanic so you will be well taken care of. Oh and their pricing is extremely competitive, especially if you tell them i referred you best of luck my friend. Oh and they are in Rocklin off 65 and 80 so not too far from you.
