My First Subi!

Can't wait to have my 2003 WRX delivered Monday! A Little TLC and she'll be a fine car. Already have my head unit on the way and the Gates Timing Belt Kit was just put on. No worries!

Yeah I went to see it on Valentine's Day (GF was pissed haha) I live in Frederick, MD and it's located in Long Island, NY. I didn't wanna make another trip so we worked out a deal to have it delivered.

It drove awesome, the clutch was brand new everything worked perfectly other than the CEL coming on.
I took a look under the hood and noticed the MAF sensor came unplugged so I figured that was it but they looked into it and it turned to be a coil pack. So they replaced that and now I'm waiting for it to be delivered. Should be Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks everyone. I haven't been on here for awhile because I was going to wait with an update when I received the car. I didn't get it until April 14th! A whole two months of waiting. First the dealer replaced an Ignition Coil and the part was on back-order. I talked them into doing the timing belt for free since I had to wait so long. Then, I got a call from the transport company saying they couldn't start it so it couldn't be loaded. Back to the dealer it went.

Turns out they messed up the timing belt job and the motor skipped timing and had to be sent out to a shop for repairs. And for the headache of waiting even longer I got a rebuilt motor with a new clutch and flywheel!

I finally have the car now and she runs perfect except the CEL came on in the rain. I thought maybe they put 87 octane in her and filled it up with 93 and a day later the CEL went away. Came back on in the rain but now is off. So I dunno. Also, I think they didn't replace the thow-out bearing when replacing the clutch because it wants to die when the clutch is at the catch point. It never dies but hesitates no matter if it's idling or I increase the RPMs.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
