Buy a another car, join another forum
Greetings!
New user here with a 2004 Subaru WRX Wagon! The color is 18L Java Black Pearl and the mods list is as follows:
That's right, its bone stock. No joke, everything is as delivered from the factory other than the tune on the ECU. I believe the car was tuned my a member of this forum but I'll let him volunteer that info should he decide to do so.
I drove no kidding 6 or 7 WRXs from 02 to 07 before I settled on this one. Every single one of them had some sort of damning issue that I could not deal with. As for this car, the paint is not perfect and I feel like the tires are a bit oversized for the stock rims but other that that its a blast as a daily driver. The car is less than perfect cosmetically, but mechanically she is solid and unmolested. This would be my "grown up car" or at least that's what my wife thinks. I have another project that is currently being silly and taking up all my time.
The day I brought her home
I tend to do all my own stunts (mechanical work) but I have no problem paying a shop to get the results I know I cannot get on my own. Goals for this vehicle are to leave it the hell alone and enjoy it. (We'll see how long that lasts ) I've caught up on maintenance by replacing all the fluids and filters and the next big hurdle is the clutch. This is my first AWD vehicle so we'll see how this goes.
Obligatory glorious sunset shot.
I'm here to poke around, be social, buy things from the classifieds and ask stupid questions. Thanks for reading!
Edit: Oh sweet jesus! This forum does not automatically re-size pictures, I'll fix it!

Thank you very much! I cherry picked nice clean pics, usually it looks terrible because dark paint and DD. And my crippling laziness.
Thanks! It's a fun club, both AWD and turbo are new things for me, even with the "little" 2.0 and TD04L-13T. Coincidentally, IF it ever takes a walk I'll be looking into something like a Blouch TD05H-16G/18G but I'm not looking to spend the money if I don't have to.
Turbo in the front, utility in the back
I lust after gold RPF1s for some reason...
So back to reality, seriously, what's with every kind in a Honda with ****ty coilovers and a fart can exhaust revving on me? Do they feel they need to prove something?
