SCCA Solo 2 @ Mather: June 1 & 2
Sacramento Cup Round 5, June 1
Sacramento Cup Round 6, June 2
A buddy (Evo 9) and I have been wanting to give autocross a try for years and we're planning on attending the June 2 event. We're total newbs and not competing for any reason other than to say we did it and to have fun.
Anyone else on here going?
After reading the SCCA rules, I'm 87% certain my car is in the ESP class and we're pretty sure his BSP so we're going to be there all day.

My RS is almost ready to go! Suspension should be done by the end of the month. HAve to see what class this car is going to be in.
Trying to balance between trackdays on the bike too :/

Your car isn't legal for either of those classes with a turbo swap.. It wont really matter though if you are just going to have fun and try it out. You most likely won't be very competitive your first few times out. I would recommend running the street tire class or stu.

How does the "working" group stuff work?

Ya I wouldn't worry too much about the rules then. When you sign in you have to sign up for a station to work at, it's pretty easy, you just watch for cars hitting cones and put them back.
I'll be running BSP so I'll probably get there around 10:30 if you need help.
