Alright....you know what.....ok that's just wrong. I hate you. That is all.
If Steve fabs the intake, and one or two other little bits next week, then everything can be sent to the powdercoaters. Almost forgot we hadn't made the intake, which is why the rest of the bits didn't go off to be powdercoated yet. Once we get the stuff back from powdercoating though, it's pretty much a 'button it all up' affair. In the meantime the coilovers can come off, DMS rear camber plates will go on, and the factory Ohlins Sportline coilover springs get removed for a set of Swift springs in front and rear to stiffen up the ride to accomodate the wide wheel and tire setup. I think the springs were like, a 504lb/in front spring, and a 395lb/in rear spring, or something close to those. Oh, and the body/paint 'yoda' still has to work his magic on the 06 sti roof vane spoiler removal. At this point I'd settle for getting my baby back as an early birthday present before April.

good meeting some of you tonight, I had the ugly muddy GC, with the moisture in the lights. Thanks irish for telling me how to fix them, I'll do that tomorrow hopefully.

There have been two big project white 06 STi's that I know of, one being mine, that FLI has done months of work on. You may be thinking of the guy that did an APS TSR70 kit on a fully built long block with RFMIC, and he's the one with the crazy FLI fuel system upgrade. 8 injectors, rails, Aeromotive FPR, pump, etc, etc. Mine's been in the shop since early-mid December, and is the only one with 18x9.5" wheels. My STi had the entire motor pulled and replaced with a different one. A guy with a Porsche race car was lucky enough to get my STi longblock, intake mani, e-throttle setup, etc. If you haven't been by FLI in the past 2-3 months, you're probably thinking of the TSR70 guy. His fuel system, and his heads are far crazier than mine. His heads should flow enough to run a GT40R if he ever wanted to.

No ****? Like 2 of the Fine Line guys have b-days in the latter half of this month. Ton of Subie guys around here with b-days in Mar/Apr. I'll def be down to get together for food/drink, although I haven't been drinking much the past 2 years, as I've tried to control the Irish drinking habits I seem to have inherited from the ancestors. I do enjoy the occasional brew though, or a vodka and tonic.
