Highway 9 was the original route from Saratoga but the lights are going to hinder the group staying together.

Just posted in the Facebook again. Hoping they decide to take 17. It will be fun as hell taking up both lanes doing the speed limit

I don't like the idea of 150+ subarus using both lanes on 17. there are people who want to go faster than 55 and we need to let them in the left lane

I'm sure we won't all be driving 55 it was more of a joke. Use your best judgement if someone wants to pass......

So you would rather have 150+ Subaru's on bear creek and highway 9 single file? Driving in front of houses with people walking on the side of the road?

Lol.

Like I said. 17 sounds like the best option for this large group.
Hopefully we will take the route I posted upon arriving into Santa Cruz.

Yeah that boat gave me a good laugh. I was descending 9 on my road bike and was like oh that boat doesnt look too bad, then i rode by and saw the back and was likt WTF?! The one nice thing was that once the cars cleared going uphill i left the light a bit early and had the road to myself all the way down.
