Its getting to be time to start thinking about it... I'll be doing the first route scout recce this weekend.

Those that have done it know what fun it can be, those that haven't well you need to do it to even have a clue...

Date -the first weekend in October, the 2nd to be specific (oops- sorry the 3rd is Sunday)
-September seems to have just too much going on, and any later we'll get rained on

I expect there will be two more pre-runs before the event if October 2 is a problem for you

We leave the Washoe House at 8- who's coming with this year?

4) eastbaysubaru (confirmed)
5) Huck

7) ipozestu/OneManArmy
8) dr tofu
9) EQ Ed
10) bushido

correction- this is the year we bumped it up to 10.... the grid was full (until some of the slackers started backing out )

5 is kind of the ideal group size, but it seems we are down to 3 or 4 ...? out of how many BAIC peeps?

The weekend before I will be doing similar, and trekking into the Sierra with my WRX for lots of dirt roads, and deep woods camping!

Because it gets waaaay too hectic when we're doing a self-run rally and frankly, most of the i-Club are a bunch of whiny beotches and we never get more interest than that

We have had as many as 7 say they'd be there, but only 5 wind up showing.

If ever we get serious interest from more people, we'll let them run- but in 8 years 5 seems to be about all we can get to come out...

Sonya and I will definitely be there again this year! Can we retain our photo crew status so I don't have to worry about those pesky target speeds?

I'm going to try to get some of the other guys from EQ to come out, but they're being little wussies about getting their cars dirty!
