We keep trying to have Subaru meets out here, they never ever really work. When I first got my wrx back in 07-08 i tried so hard to get something out here. Theres been multiple attempts but none too successful, even concord. All the good meets are like Hayward.

Theres a meet at in and out but a bunch of fox body high school kids go now.

I think another east Contra Costa County meet could thrive again like the Kohl's one that lasted for some time 3 - 4 years ago. Problem w/ a Brentwood meet is that it really only includes those 2 or 3 cities in the area. A meet in Concord or Pleasant Hill caters to a much wider audience. I seem to recall that folks from Pinole & Martinez were fairly regular to Kohl's Pleasant Hill.

I offered similar input & suggestions in this Tues nite Walnut Creek meet thread. While this Brentwood meet suffered from being a bit too far to have more people attend, the Walnut Creek one suffers from being in a terrible location as far as parking goes.

It's apparent there's interest; y'all just need to make it stick. Good luck. I'd be happy to check out on occasion whatever gets dialed in.

Last time i attended there was like 10 wrx's that came. Usually though, just random fox bodies and other ratchet 14sec cars that go and keep too thier group. I used to love going when it was a big thing back in 08-09. Since ive become of age(), i see no reason in going and wasting my weekend staring at highschoolers and their 1991 slammed integra's
