When I had my Miata it was a blast going up those hairpins to the observatory. Now that I've upgraded to the STI, it's not as fun which is strange. But then again, I've got two extra driven wheels, doubl the weight of a Miata, double the hp and torque so I can't complain. I hope no one is planning to drive a slammed scooby up that road though, because you'll need all the compliance you can get!

Haha someone needs to bring a bag of zipties because I predict a few front lips will be ripped off of the slammed cars

For most of the road you will be fine. The road doesn't get too bad unless you plan to make a trip up to the observatory. If you do, drive moderately and take it easy and you should be fine.

A lot of it is patched now. Much smoother drive up.
