Severely slows down the page. I've brought this up before.
Running a 867mhz Apple G4 with 1.25 gig of ram on a DSL connection and that banner, just freezes all my browsers. Safari, IE, Netscape, Firefox, you name it.

I have two computers and they both experience the same phenomenon.

LOL, There's your problem right there, its not your browser that's the problem. :P hehehehehehe..... Just kidding....

seriously though....I never had any problems with that ad crashing my browsers (IE or Firefox)

Back on topic.....as far as banner ads goes....I agree with what everyone else said thus far......but the one thing that drives me nutz is the stupid Intellitext links....OH MAN, those just chap my hyde....thank god for the "Adblock" plugin for Firefox.
