When u checked these out did all 4 corners have camber plates? And how did u check to see if they were blown?

I don't remember if had camber plates on all corners. The shafts were soaked in fluids, but the rest of the coilovers were dry. Also, the shafts had some major damage. Its like they were rubbing against metal instead of the seal. Go and check them out if you want, but def not worth buying it. I think its listed on CL again. Same price, diff pic. Maybe he cleaned it up, but you can't hide the shaft damage.

I can't believe someone bought those! They were just messed up. I believe these were for a GD and not a GC. The previous owner was a skinny little kid that drove a black WRX.

Its easy to redrill the top of the plates to match the spacing of the GC. Just knock out the pressed in stud, drill new holes with right spacing, tap and thread some grade 8 bolts so that the camber adjustment is rotated correctly in the front and the spacing is correct in the rear. However, if the top plates are the triangle shape (can't remember) then it might be difficult/impossible to do, depending on the shape.

I'd rather modify the coilover top plate than the mounting holes on the body. I've seen someone elongate the rear mounting holes on the body of a GC to fit some GD coilovers. No bueno for me. People might say this is a big no no, but depending on the top hat design, it shouldn't be a problem. The best would be a circular top hat instead of the triangle.
