Edit: Pics Added. Edit: Sold. Thank You Very Much For Your Interest.
Wanted to gauge interest and maybe entertain some offers for a (IMHO) decent suspension off a 04' WRX.
Here's the composition:
o (4) 02' WRX Wagon Strut Bodies, chopped, cropped and cleaned up.
o (4) Koni Inserts, 2 Front, 2 Rear (duh:P)
o (2) Bump Travel Extender/Spacers by D_REX on NASI()C. (On Fronts)
o (1) WRX-Specific Ground Control Kit, included (4) pieces.
o (4) Stock Tophats/Topmounts.
I used wagon struts for more negative camber adjustability. I'm not sure what effect it has on tire clearance and width, I had OEM 205 width tires. They were purchased as whole units for $100. The Koni Inserts were purchased from Teagues Auto for ~$660 less shipping, and the Ground Control WRX-Specific Kit direct from GC, for about ~$400 less shipping. The "Bump Travel Extender/Spacers" is a custom-made spacer used in conjunction with Koni Inserts to increase travel by nearly an inch. These were made by D_REX on NASI()C, and purchased for $40 IIRC. Here's a diagram.
The springs on the GC's are 7", 400lbs/in units, both front and rear (400lbFR/400lb RR)
The entire setup has approximately 9,000 "daily-driven" miles. These would have been tried at an auto-x but.. RE92's. Nuff said?
The total invested on this "setup" is $1200. (not a word. I could have bought a full coilover setup, but I had my reasons.. ) This does not include the hum-bug labor it took to cut and modify the shock housings. For some people, it may be easy, but I believe it still is a bit annoying and bummed me out.. I really wished it would have been bolt on, but oh well.
I'll get some pictures up in a few days, I'm struggling a bit with time because I have an APA style paper due for English class.
I think that this setup has been well used (9,000 miles) and probably lost a lot of it's value; I was going to ask $400 but i'd like to see if anyone else thinks that is a reasonable amount. Pictures are a BIG help, and I realize that. If you'd like to wait for pictures before making an offer, feel free to do so. I will post pictures for sure, but not sure just when yet. Just to clarify, the list above implies that this is all in pieces. It isn't; it's pretty much ready to be installed. I just listed each component seperately.
Thank You In Advance.

Hmm .. well i'd say that it wasn't too bad, but I guess since I moved to that from stock, I wouldn't know what's good or bad. I'm a newbie when it comes to suspension..
On some bumps though you'll bounce in your seat?
Odzilla was also interested but I wasn't sure if he still wanted them. I'd need to wait a bit to see otherwise.
Oddly though.. I don't recall many people besides Pat and people on the mainland running GC's- not good enough for some people?
