tuning help!

hey everyone I'm in need of a tune badly and need some advise. i can't seem to get in with streamline anytime soon and i just did a major upgrade on my 05 wrx including new blotch 16g xt, full invidia turbo back, catless up pipe, ram air, and 850cc injectors.
i would like to be able to at least use my car even if its just on a limp map, cause as of now its just been sitting as its undrivable without a map with those 850cc's ii am considering re-installing my stock injectors so that my car is at least useable but i really don't want to deal with the hassle of the GBOD again...

any advise?
im in liliha btw

As mentioned in WRXTuners, you're going to want your tuner to send you a base map. Based on your other post I assume you were going to get an OpenSource tune?

Eh man also in Liliha , damn wouldn't chance it but I do have scaled injectors (or a safe map) that Kai at streamline set in for me when I had my upgrades(blouch 1.5xtr and 1000cc injectors) but fuel pump was waiting. Only thing would to keep car under really low or no boost at all.

Why didn't you get an appointment before your installed everything? Also, what engine management are you running? You could contact a mainland tuner and have them send you an etune.

i said screw it and just re-installed my stockers. i ordered all parts through kai at streamline and when i told him that i was going to install it all myself there was no words of caution or anything, he seems to know his **** but just wish he coulda said "hey don't install injectors until you are ready to tune, as your car won't run"

i got an appointment on the 8th now,
and i have taken out the gbod completely and just used new silicone vacuum hoses on the breathers so it only takes about 45 min to install injectors when the time comes

It's so easy to get a limp map from the tuner. Easier than replacing your injectors twice...well, three times now.

my only complaint about streamline would be the fact that they are overbooked and don't really put a higher priority on situations like yours, which means the difference between having a running car or not. kai really does know his stuff when it comes to tuning and did a great job on my car but I didnt realize that they would only allow me to book an appointment AFTER my parts came in, instead of scheduling me tentatively UPON arrival of parts.

thats always the practice of any shop...what if your parts dont come in on time...how does the shop make money when it planned for work around your vehicle? would you be willing to pay the time spent for your car to be there to take up space without having work for it? i didnt think so...

ever work flat rate before? or know the concept of it?
