Suspension
I'm running Tein SS-P's with a bunch of other braces, bars, endlinks etc... The ride is definitely wifey approved! I think your problem is the Flex's. I've heard that they're too stiff for daily driving.

Back when I had my STi and was looking for suspension stuff, I went with a set of Swfit springs. Unfortunately, I was never able to have them installed. But, from what I read, many people were happy with the ride and the drop. It was firm and yet managed to get rid of the bobble head effect. They're not cheap, but occasionally you can find a good deal on them.

Car Info: STi (cornering, accelerating and braking hard).
IMO this is the perfect setup for DD and also wife approved.
My car is a 2004 STi and a DD which my wife and I commute in at least a few times a week.
My setup is as follows:
Ohlins fixed perch struts
JDM Pink springs
RCE lowering camber plates
Groun-N rear top mounts
Whiteline 27-29 mm FSB
Perrin 22-26 MM RSB
Carbing Okuyama front strut brace
This setup is very controlled and is competitive in SCCA Street Mod class.
It has a better ride than stock because it doesn't bounce like the OEM setup does.

Higher spring rates on my Zeals were actually more comfortable than the Tein Flex. But if you're unhappy with the Flex you should contact Myles at Race Comp Engineering. Tell him San sent you and he'll hook you up. He won't sell you a suspension you don't need, he'll sell you something that will work for your needs. Nice guy, I've met him in person. Very professional and well regarded in the suspension and brake arena.
