The stock alternator costs close to $300 While the 150 amp is 165. But if i could get it for 150 And not have to wait for shipping that would be great!!! Wheres the shop at?

I called the starter and alternator repair shop and they charge $239 To repair it.

that's not bad. You should check how much a new OEM alternator is. Did you check remanufactured or oem replacement from o-Riley or Napa?

I've never had a subaru alternator done there, lots of small boat alternators though. I guess that's why they are cheaper. Still not bad though.

I ended up buying a new one from oreillys Cause they have lifetime warranty. But my battery is dead so getting that charged now. If its not one thing its another Hahahaha.

I replaced the starter and now it turns on fine. The only thing i see going on is that while idling sometimes it goes up to 2000 Rpms by itslef then back to normal.
