Great acquisition Ryan, how the hell did you find this, especially in manual?!! SMH. Looking forward to see another built GC. I heard there is a red 4door one from Washington iirc that has STi swap also. I heard its at a local shop, I think its munkywurks. Ill be glad to offer a lending hand if you need help yanking the motor out or anything small.
The red GC8 is mine, its a 2.5RS coupe with a JDM V7 setup (AVCS, VF30 tubro, 550cc inject.) and 04 USDM WRX drivetrain. I had just moved here and stopped by munkyworks to talk tune for a little bit. Have some bigger plans in the future for it.
I do have a Clutch Masters FX300 kit (lightweight flywheel and slave cylinder included) for sale. It only has approximately 1100 miles on it. I swapped to the newer drivetrain after I blew out the transmission the day after I got it tuned. Too much torque for it to handle. I ended up stripping all the teeth off of the first gear input shaft. So I just bit the bullet and upgraded before I moved here. If you're interested for pics or price PM me and I'll send them.

After having a conversation with my Ryan counterpart on the westside, it gave me the little bump I needed to do some work on this guy.
- Changed the clutch
- Valve cover gaskets
- Main seal
- Oil
Drives as a 15 year old car should! Sloppy as hell! But, it drives. Will slowly begin putting some fun stuff on her in the next few months. Even with the 144k 1.8l, she has some good power, should be fun at AutoX for the time being =p
