2014 Toys 4 Tots!!
#1
Aloha HIIC!
This year's Toys 4 Tots event will be on November 30th, 9am at The Piano parking lot at Kaka'ako.
This is half a month away. I emailed the coordinator giving a rough estimate of attendees, but I really want to have a good showing this year. It's a good time for us to give to the kids. Please bring a donation of at least one toy, unopened, for the dropoff. I also learned that they're asking for donations for the Hawaii Food Bank so if you can, please bring some canned foods as well!
The entrance opens at 9am and there will most likely be a good line of cars waiting to get in to secure a spot for their clubs. I say we meet up between 8-8:30 at the main Kakaako park parking lot then roll in to the T4T event from there.
There will be refreshments available there as well as vendors for things like parts. I don't even have to mention the numerous other clubs that will show up for this good cause.
Please pass this info on to other Subaru enthusiasts and let's get a huge turnout, my Hawaii Ohana.
Mahalo and aloha,
Josh.

Email from the organizer himself:
Hi Joshua,
Yes, we are expecting about 500 to 600 Cars, Trucks and Hot Rods to attend this years event. I will RSVP your club. Come as a group anytime before 9:30 am for the best parking. you may bring a tent. Please park your cars in each parking stall. We are looking tight for spaces. We also had a request from the Hawaii Food Bank for donations. they have had a 30% increase in requests for food this year. Hope you and your friends can help donate toys for the children and canned food for our island families in need. Thank you for your support. I would appreciate if you can help spread the word to your friends, club members and social media contacts. I have attached flyers that you can email or print out and distribute.
