Dryflow filter cleaning

Is there something special about the dry flow filter cleaning solution that aem makes or can I use an alternative cleaning solution. Really can't find that stuff at Kragens or autozone

AEM has a cleaning kit you can purchase from them.

But I just flushed mine with a hose and then dunked it in some soapy water then flushed it with water again. I did it a few times checking to see if theres any dirt left then I shook off the excess water and left it out in the sun to dry.

What he said. It takes a while to dry though.

ive heard dish soap is actually the best and softest soap to use. granted youre not washing paint but a rigid wired filter. ive soaked in warm soapy dish soap f or 15, rinsed, repeat soak, rinse, reapeat soak, rinse, dry, oil. havent had any problems
