It used to take a certain level of financial responsibility to buy a Subaru. That responsibility then lead to proper maintenance and proper modifications. In turn, Subarus were able to maintain high value.

Now there is a pattern emerging where you can be less responsible to become an owner. This lack of responsibility leads to poor maintenance and poor modifications. These factors will bring down the value of the Subaru nameplate which will effect everyone.

Thanks 2L_Monster! My apologies for getting on here and asking. I see that some people are not welcome to their own mods. I'm sorry if you think that I wasted your time. For the financial part of it...it is difficult when you have a wife and 3 kids and also trying to have a hobby. Things do come up and there is nothing you can do about it. That is the route I took because I needed to provide for the family. Again, I'm sorrry if I offended you guys, I won't ask for opinions anymore. I don't want to step on anybody's toes. I am a very humble person and would like to get a long with everyone.

As far as I'm concerned this is a place to learn and ask for advice from people that have been in this platform for quite sometime. You do get the occasional wise guys who think that conscript they have been on here so long they get to answer questions sarcastic and rude without any regards to people's feelings and thoughts. To me these are just Internet tough guys and just let them act how they act. They're the same ones that when there's a meet no one wants to kick it with them once they learn their online name. Do what you have to do for your family and when the time comes up again and your a little Better off with the funds sell the coils you got and get the ones they recommended. Other than that welcome to the forums and don't be afraid to ask for any help or feedback regardless of the kind of responses you'll get. It's better to get some feedback rather than no feedback at all

What does car modding have to do with your family?, If you have expenses that are coming up you shouldnt be buying coilovers in the first place. Why not save up an extra couple months and do it right the first time. Most of the advice given here is to save you money, so that you dont need to make an additional purchase down the road. Ya i dunno i never get why people bring up the fact that they have other expenses that are so important. Modding your car is a want not a need, set aside little to no money in those times for your car and then buy the right part when you can.

I am running the Stance GR+ and they have treated me pretty well for the 5 years I've been running them. Or something like that... That probably wasn't your question, but... before I bought my Stance set-up, I compiled at a coilover comparison chart where I compared various set-up's. It's a bit out-dated, but might not be a bad idea to check out and/or possibly add in new information.
