Ha yah my car was named for me.

I'm on Oahu and my recent PDX tune pulled 295whp & 350ftlbs on 92 pump.

... ok fine.

220hp 240tq.

i'm assuming the 4EAT is taking away some of that. and the lack of 3" TBE.

I need to figure out how to get to the 280/300 range. 5sp?

I think the 4EAT has less to do with it than you may think. There's plenty of reasonably high HP cars running the automatic. You are right that the TBE is holding you back, as is the stock exhaust manifold. Also, your stock injectors will run out of headroom around 280hp. If you want to push that VF43, you will probably need a fuel pump + bigger injectors if you want to run more boost.

I'm stuck at 260/280, and will likely be here for a while. My next steps are meth, injectors, fuel pump and a re-tune, the sum total of which will be $$$$. I'm probably going to shoot for 300/350 with that setup and see what happens. Adios, 5MT!

I have a walbro in it already. If the injectors run out around 280, that's good for me... but then again, 300/300 would be nice

I just need to source a full 3" TBE that isn't fart can loud! This is my DD, and in my line of work I can't be showing up in a car that can be heard inside the place of business (it's just not professional). Plus, loud exhaust + 4EAT = LOL! Mike @ GST recommended the Cobb exhaust... but I have yet to hear it in person.

The Cobb exhaust fit and finish is awesome, but it's not the quietest thing on the market. I have an Injen 3" catback (fart can) and my buddy has the FXT-specific Cobb and the sound is similar - we both have EL headers + similar mods. That said, the sound at idle is not loud at all, but it does get loud when you step on it. I don't think you'd be committing an embarrassing, unprofessional faux pas with either system as long as you were mindful to not race in/out.

Also, the Cobb FXT CBE is discontinued and you would be hard pressed to find one in stock at any number of aftermarket retailers. My suggestion would probably be the MadDad Whisper. I think I am going to go that route once I sell off my Cobb catted DP + Injen CBE and go catless.

Any input on the Borla hush?

I had a GReddy Ti-C exhaust before, but that thing was just toooo loud. I sold it and went back to stock, for the stealth.

I thought that our (04 fxt) injectors were the same as the sti of that year, which put out 300/300? I'm probably wrong...

Borla Hush is similar to the MadDad, iirc. As far as the injectors are concerned, they are the same as 04-05 STi, but the 300/300 for those motors refers to crank HP, not wheel HP.

Meh I think Buzzword wins.... his foz is amazing! And I can vouch for the Hush. I've had multiple exhausts(10 +, including Cobb and MadDad.) The Hush is the best sounding exhaust I've had by far. I have UEL headers and an EWG so it's pretty loud at WOT, but it's really quiet under 3500 rpm and really throaty from 3.5k-8.5k rpm in my car. Not to mention the Borla Hush is a stealthy looking exhaust, since you're trying to stay professional. Can't go wrong with it IMO.

I should have posted a pic of all the suspension work and GR STI components (brakes, etc) under RAPTR's Fozz. Not to mention the legit Stage II tune and the fact that I don't know of anyone in the US that took his generation's Fozzy as far as he did in so little time.
Too bad its parted out and gone. He's in an EVO X MR Limited now...
