On my 95 L series 1.8 the car cut off one day and wouldnt start back. The used car lot I bought it from said they would fix it for me. They have since taken it to 3 or 4 shops and nobody can figure out what it is. At first it wasnt gettin any spark, then it was getting the wrong kind of spark (which I have never heard of before) and then they had it to turn over but wouldnt stay running. They supposedly have tried changing the coil pack, the cam shaft sensor, the crank shaft sensor and even the ecu. It's been 4 months since this happened and I'm about to go nuts with this. The plugs and wires are new and the motor in it only has 45k. This is my first subaru and I am not used to these horizontal motors. If anyone knows what this might be please respond. I have an awesome mechanic going to check it out for me tomorrow but if anyone has any suggestions let me know. Thank you.

I'm not sure but maybe they have the wrong plpugs firing at the wrong times? ie: maybe they have the wires hooked up wrong. but other than that, it could be any number of things, you may need to take it to Hardin-White, they might be able to figure it out for you.
