I just got my cobb AP and downloaded the stage 2 acn map. And my car doesn't feel normal at all i expected some of this because i just reflashed the computer. But when i try to accelerate past 3k rpms i get this weird sputter and my car doesnt go. I literally just did this so i only drove it like 10 miles. But will this go away soon??

Where did you get the map from?

Have you tried reflashing back to stock to make sure it was the stage 2 map that is causing the issues?

Did you purchase the correct version AP? I see you drive a 2005, so you should have a SUB-002 Firmware AP. AP-SUB-001 is for 2002-2005 WRX, AP-SUB-002 is for 2004-2007 STi and 2006-2007 WRX, and the AP-SUB-003 is for 08+ STi/WRX.

I'm not implying you ordered a wrong version, but it wouldn't help to double-check since each version of AP has different map values (especially the 08+ version).

GL!

I am pretty sure I did I double checked my online receipt and looked through all the stuff and it says its good for the 04-07 sti. My pro tune is in a couple days so i was going to wait till then.

And another weird thing i am not sure if this is because i went back to stock. But when i am in first gear at a dead stop. I am hearing this small tick sound I haven't heard it before until I went back to stock. It isn't loud or anything just happens when i start moving out of first. Anyone know What this is? It has been like 100 degrees here lately so i am not sure if that is the problem but hopefully the pro tune solves this.
