06 STI Modding Time!!!!
looking to do some modding to my car need some opinions on it. exhaust is huge and i was thinking about just doing the cobb stage 2 power pack quick and easy, or running a different set up with the blitz nur spec r cat back like a down pipe/ up-pipe combo w/a tune. your opinions??
Let me know guys,

I would highly recommend the Cobb Stg 2 power pack. The TBE exhaust fits outstanding, it looks nice, and best of all, its not super loud. Really important for us here in cali as the cops are dicks. Atleast they are here in Sac. Its no a big Coffee can looking muffler and is very discreet looking, and sounds bad ***! Really big power difference VS stock obvioulsy, and you can really feel the added torque. Also nice as well with the AP you can change back to stg 1 and put your stock DP back on ver easy when it comes time to smog.

I'm running a Maddad Whisper, and I never had issues in Cali. For noise anyway. See what the guys who track at Laguna use, strict noise limits at that track.
The whisper has a smaller tip than stock. And I swear I have the quietest STI on the island when mellow. It does cost some power though. Hit Ed up at EQ Tuning if you get a chance.
