P0137 cel, low voltage to o2???

On my way to Seattle, i got a cel. I figured it would be the P0420 code, which is the poor cat efficiency code, since i've gotten the code before, ever since i put on my turboback. As soon as I arrived here in Seattle, the first thing i did was go to Autozone to get the code read. I ended up getting a P0137 code which is a low voltage to the 02 sensor code, to Bank 1 Sensor 2. Do you guys know which sensor that is? Anybody know what could give this code? The chart the guy from autozone had says that a p0137 could be either from a malfunctioning o2 sensor, engine running too rich or lean, malfunctioning fuel pump which would cause the engine to run too rich or lean, or possibe engine malfunction. Any help would be much appreciated.

That's too bad that nobody knows anything about this. I've set up an appointment to see the suby dealer this wednesday. Unfortunately, since i have a turboback, to check the o2 sensor will not be covered under warranty. Maybe i need a new o2 sensor, who knows.

Thanks. Hope it doesn't cost me a fortune. I also need to get my car registered here in WA, but before i do that, i need to pass emissions. Unfortunately, a cel will automatically fail an emissions test. I'll take all the luck i can get.

By the number of responses and views of this thread, i can tell that nobody really cares, but i just went to the dmv to get info on registering my car in the state of WA, and turns out that they don't even do an emissions test on cars unless they are over 5 years old. So i'm off the hook. Yah! But i'm still going to have the car looked at tomorrow. I'd hate it to be something serious.

Did you ever consider the possibility that the number of views and responses is related to how many people know the answer to your question? I subscribed to the thread and viewed it every time there was a reply, hoping to learn something. When your dealer repairs the cause of your CEL, there's nothing I'd like better than to read about it so I know how to answer the next similar question.

Anyhow, I'm glad to hear that your state will not be testing your car for emissions. You are fortunate compared folks in CA and several other states.

I never actually figured out what the exact problem was. I simply ended up buying a new o2 sensor and replaced the old one. I haven't had a problem since.
