Well, my clutch went out awhile ago so i got the exedy organic sport to replace the stock one. My question is, should i have RA gears put in my tranny now, or wait till it breaks and rebuild it. It's about the same price and i don't see a difference between the two. All the gears and syncros are going to get replaced anyways so why not wait until mine are broke then replace them so i can maximize the usage of my old gears and syncros. What do you guys think?
if i were you i would just change everything now. instead pay more later to have the gears installed. if the gears you have now are in good shape just sell em for money.
and i've also been hearing this clicking noise when my rpm is really low, ex: when i'm in 2nd and i'm only going like 5 mph. there's like this loud click noise. i dont know where it's coming from and it only appeared recently. >< *sigh* i hate these unlocateable sources of noise, bothers the **** outta me ... ahhhhhh
i ordered a ra rebuilt tranny and need a new clutch. how is the clutch that you have? why did you choose is over the act. my car started feelin really notchy while changing gears and second was making a slight noise and i heard something just snap one day, and 2nd was out
i choose the exedy sport over the act because of my commuting. The act clutch is very stiff compared to the exedy sport which is just like stock. And they work perfect.
