2002 WRX Deceleration Noise
My 2002 WRX makes a grinding noise when I am decelerating in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears. It is has been intermittent lately but was consistent for a few months in a row. It mostly happens when it is warmed up. Has anyone else had this problem or know what the cause may be?

Around 3K RPM, in gear, and off-throttle (and goes away when you get back on throttle)? thats yer rear diff whining. It's what they do. maybe check your rear diff fluid level.
