New to california

I Did some research and my main question is; how bad are cops with things like exhausts/ lowering cars? Obviously once you lower your car it becomes a "race car" something I will never understand, but if I were to run a duel tip muffler 2pipes side by side a DIY welded, how bad would cops trip about it? It will be "somewhat" loud.

It's all about how you drive.

I'll make a new account, or if there is a way for an administrator to change my name that would be great. And I have a 2000 forester so I'm going to run borla Uel/some brand Uel, high flow cat, 2.25' midpipe and the muffler would be the duel tip

It's all about how you drive. I'm a California CV native that's driven low loud cars for the past....14 years. Great, now I feel old.
I used to get a lot of tickets, but I've changed my driving habits for the better and haven't had a ticket in over 3 years. My chp friend told me to cruise on the freeway at 7 over and I'll be fine. My 14 WRX has the dual N1 style Invidia catback, it's loud. The car is lowered slightly, and I even have some stickers on the window. Just don't drive like an idiot, and you'll be fine.
