***SOLD*** FS: CA: 2003 WRX, 5MT, 173k, needs head gasket(s), $3500 obo
***SOLD***
I've had the car since 2007 when I bought it off eBay from Texas. I've enjoyed it a lot as a sports car, family car, ski & road trip car, but have barely driven it in the last 3 years so I've finally convinced myself that it needs to find a new owner who will appreciate it.
First, the reasons for such a low price:
-Before it was parked I was struggling to get the smog readiness monitors to switch to "ready" so that it could be smogged again. When I took it to a shop I trusted recently he felt that the head gasket(s) had blown and that's why it's running very rough and why the radiator hoses had swollen (from oil in the anti-freeze). It's currently registered NonOp as these issues will have to be fixed.
-There are a couple of dents on the driver's door that have light rust. I bought it this way and never got around to fixing it.
-The paint on the plastic bumpers has faded.
-The A/C wasn't working last I checked. Recharge?
