I was pretty damn close to pulling the trigger on a bug a couple months ago.. but im holding out.

Id rather buy a house sooner and have WAY more work room than the place we are at right now.

i just stumbled on this thread. when i was 15 I had a 64 Bug Two tone paint with a Built 1914, dual 48's, and Irs rear end and depending on my mood either a stinger or dual muffler, It was seriously dropped to the floor, literally at times lol. I would go out cruising with friends and racing at night back when the elcamino in santa clara was the spot to be and those in the know went to Der Venier to find out where the late night runs would be at.
I would love to pick up another old school Bug again.

How have I not seen this thread until now? I love me some old school VW's. My first one was a 72 super beetle but I became a bug snob after that and could only have a 66 and older. I had a 57 oval for a while that I loved. My last one was a 66 with a 2275cc, roll cage, geared tranny and it was a beast. The power to weight ratio is sooo good in those cars.

Can't find a pict right now, but I'll have to see if I can find one of them.

OMFG-R U SERIOUS? The king of online sh*t talking & thread invading has the nerve to say such rubbish, you want me to show you all the sh*t you posted in MY threads from the past, you truly are something else on here! What, you can dish it out but can't receive it, now that the tables are turned you all of a sudden don't like it huh! How does it feel, i still can't believe your reaction when THIS is all you ever do to everyone on here.

Yeah, go ahead & retaliate (like usual) with all your stupid pics/posts & have all your "buddies" try & jump in to back you up. It's the same ol' story, i know how this sh*t's run now, if you want people to stay out of your stupid threads without positive contribution, then you gotta do the same, but we already now that'll never happen. You're the biggest hypocrite on here trying to say that sh*t to me, your words don't mean anything considering all your past (& present for that matter) actions you've done here, you better check yoself du!

That is somewhat how mine looked, dropped to the floor. Had black wall tires though no white walls right before she got sold i fixed the suspension and had it at a proper dropped level on some nicer wheels and tires. I wish I had pics. this was back when you have to get your roll of film developed and most of us never traveled with a camera. just a couple of needed tools LOL. Would have been nice to have digital cameras back then.

no kidding. If you were lucky you got the shot in the first roll haha. DAMN UNCLE ED put the drink down and SMILE!! LOL

I wish my parents had taken pics of the old Squareback with a 911 motor in it from my Uncles wrecked 911. I would have never believed them had they both not told me the same story (they have been divorced since i was 4 years old and never seem to agree on anything except the squareback stories). I have told them both many times they were idiots for selling that thing.
