Car Info: 2003 PSM WRX, 80 Brat ready for Chevy 350 Swap.
ya... it got to be a pain having to hold the tires up to bolt them on... The studs were pretty damn cheap too. Ryan when you start workin on it, where are you going to get ur parts from?
This is where I got most my stuff in the end...
http://www.bugformancesuperstore.com/
Little more expensive with some stuff but really liked the guys workin there and it was only like a 20min drive from my. Most of the bug shops had closed up or moved out of area.
EDIT: ahh gotcha... yea its just a diff bolt pattern. Prolly just changed it up over the years?

I'm a big time veedub snob, so I will withhold my comments regarding the super beetle pictures posted, as a true bug was "built before '64". Being that you put TLC in, and that you seem to love veedubs, I forgive you and definitely urge you to pursue finding a 50's or early 60's bug. I always wanted a ghia too, but I could never take one over a bug, it had to be both, or a bug only.

No garage at our apartment, and it's hard enough having one reserved covered space, and having to find a guest/public space for our Lexus. I'll buy another classic project car when we have a house with a garage for me to store one.
