Modify the 07 STi or buy GT-R?

Considering selling the STi for a GT-R. The STi is basically stock, but I'm getting a little bored with it. I don't want to deal too much with police, smog, or reliability issues, so I'm thinking about "upgrading" to a GT-R. I'm well aware of the cost increase, but I'm at a point in my life where I can afford it.

Thoughts?

Yes gtr.... Unless you plan on a sleeper looking car. I see you have an 07 STI, they're notorious for failure so an engine build I assume will be in your plans. The gtr is a beast out of the box and with very little modification, it will be even better and since it's considered a 'super car' in a sense and looks pricey the police won't bother you as much as they would with an STI. But an STI that can spank a gtr would be pretty effin amazing

I have yet to rebuild the bottom end, but I'm assuming rods, slugs, and snail are a minimum for anything over 400 WHP. I have access to E85, so was thinking of going that route also.

Sucks how classist the police are, but it is too true. I used to get pulled over almost weekly in my old school CRX, but still one if my favorite cars.

Trading the Mini for one (BRZ) as soon as they are available!

I seriously hope they release an STi version by 2013 that is boosted. Toyota already confirmed a supercharged GT 86!
