I cut that stupid thing off like the second time I got gas. I put it on top of the pump or in the crease between my roof and wing (wagon).

I hate those things dangling off. How hard is it to put a little clip there to hold the cap. Lazy bastards.

At least on the 08+, there is a little tiny hook on the inside of the panel where you can hang the gas cap by the plastic
tether. It's really hard to notice but it does keep the cap off the quarter panel.

When it's raining I am CONSTANTLY on the look out for big open spaces to get loose in.

Almost got stuck in the fields in Watson a couple years ago trying to drift with RE070's in the fields. Much fun. Puckered my cheeks for sure.
