Hopefully this week. I met with the Quarry Lakes Supervisor last Thursday. Gave him the application, showed him the event plan, and the map for how we plan to do the event.
He's pretty much on board with it all, and said the only thing he wants is to charge us for 2hrs for a 2nd ranger to work the entrance kiosk so that cars can be removed from Isherwood Way, and I said that's not even a problem cause that's good for us as well to get everyone in sooner.
So he's going to sign off on it, and send it up to the big bosses. He told me that sometime this week I'll get contacted with a YES or NO reply... and if YES, I'll get to pay the balance and get a permit in my hand.
