But by percentage of owners... That's an interesting statistic. In which case, the top 4 kinda make sense. Those are cars that you buy with the intent to drive the **** out of them.

Car Info: ...zeh car drives you!
Here is a more fleshed out article...Speed traps: America's 10 most ticketed cars - CBS News
Not sure how seriously I take the article with "Mercury Topaz ranked seventh" and was definitely at "17. Mitsubishi 3000 GT – 27.4%". So if they are using "by percent of owners" math...does this mean if they had 60 instances of 3000GTs (there weren't many made and even fewer left), and if 16 got tickets then it made the list? And how did the it or the WRX make the list and not the Evolution?
EDIT: If anything, the article title should be "Most Ticketed Drivers" not Cars...I am sure Accord, Camry and F150 would be in the top 10 via sheer number of vehicles on the road with the latter.
Insurance.com looked at the vehicle makes and models that were most frequently involved in a moving violation over the past three years, crunching data provided in 557,000 auto insurance quotes. Cars that did not have at least 50 quote requests were excluded, so there's no data on Ferraris or Lamborghinis. However, hundreds of other automobiles made the cut.

FOUND IT!
Des hates Subies!
"It's not about horsepower," said Des Toups, managing editor of Insurance.com. "The Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge Viper and Nissan GT-R rank well below average for tickets even though they can easily double the highest speed limits. But those cars are also costly, so their buyers tend to be older and take fewer risks."
