The "What did you do to your car today" Thread!
#2822
Yesterday,
I had the brake fluid flushed and refilled with ATE blue racing fluid,
the front and rear differential drained and refilled with Lucas 75w90 synthetic, the transmission drained and filled, and the power steering fluid flushed and filled engine oil changed to castrol 5w30 synthetic with Subaru filter.
Today, I'm having the pcv valve changed out. At which time this will complete the 60,000 mile service.

I also plan in the future to put in beatrush center bearing supports(solid) and change out all the U joints for Splicer cryo treated ones. (Found a company back east that can change and service our "non serviceable' driveshafts)

I still need to put in the TIC shift joint, and the TIC race transaxle bushings. I did consider going the perrin hard mounts, but after reading about how much road noise they transfer, I decided group N was good enough.

I wouldn't do solid motor mounts either. Not on something that gets driven on the street.
I started cleaning up my brake swap last night finally. Got one caliper done and started on the second. LGT full swap. Cheap mans brembos. LOL! Should look pretty solid though and more importantly, I know for a fact they work really well on my platform.

Hands Free, Bluetooth Audio, Pandora Integration... Love this deck.
Took me 30mins to install this morning since my brother pre did the harnesses for me the other day.
Will take it out later to connect the USB and Aux inputs. I want to do them more cleanly in the Forester so going to see what's out there to place those two ports somewhere.
