Caught the last half of the game. Hell of a comeback.

David Lee: The $15 Million Warrior Bench-Warmer | SportsGrid

Is this real life? I know DLee is overpaid and that Klay is gonna get plenty, but damn if that isn't strange to see. The last few seasons relied a lot on DLee getting double/doubles every game. Now the team is so deep, he's not even a factor.

Kerr is exactly what these team needed.

Mo Buckets out vs Denver. Suspended one game for reckless driving in Florida. So i guess DLee will be relevant for one more game.

You all do know they are sitting all the starters tonight, right?

If Curry or Thompson have a bad shooting night together, they still need a reliable third scorer. Right now as it stands, it's just 3rd scorer by committee. They still need to figure something out once playoff time comes, when the game slows down dramatically. Like Draymond has said to reporters, doesn't matter if they have the best record once playoff time comes. All that is thrown out the door.

Is it wrong that I still expected them to win tonight?

Nope. I kinda blame Kerr for this loss. His substitution pattern in the 4th should've been the opposite of what it was. The lineup that was working (Ezeli/McAdoo/Livingston/Barbosa/Holiday) was ended with (Lee/McAdoo/Rush/Holiday/Livingston).

Lee played poorly, but so did Draymond and Barnes. Galinari had his way with Draymond and Barnes simply disappears when Curry's not playing with him.

Rush is pretty much done as an NBA player.

Then there were some crucial mistakes by the Warriors guards in the end that sealed the loss.

McAdoo plays pretty well. But I still think Kerr won't play him much with a full squad. Even if Kerr doesn't play Lee at all, McAdoo still has to contend with Bogut/Green/Speights/Ezeli before he comes off the bench.

Klay Thompson out with ankle sprain for about 10 days. Obviously won't play tonight against the Hawks. Kyle Korver is out too.

Hard to believe they haven't done that in 40 years.

Look at them wrapped up knees on Green and Iggy

He's a defensive liability. Plus Draymond's playing extremely well. Mo Speights is scoring better than Lee is. Just nowhere to put Lee in. Especially when Speights and Ezeli are playing.

If that's the price it takes to win, it's worth it.
