Part of bam is to check out all the other unique subies out there and not only a few.

I can guarantee you that i was not the only one that didnt check out the 300 subarus that was parked 50 yards away.. Mainly because it was so far away from the main scene which was the bbq, show cars, and the vendors.

Thanks.

Ps: Check out youtube and type in "baic bam"... The whole page is filled with just the main scene. Where do you see videos of all the other nice rides that were parked 50 yards away? I'm sure there were a lot of badass builds in that field that nobody knew about.

That video was taken by one person I believe as they walked around for a few minutes.

I spent a huge portion of my time in the parking lot walking around and looking at the cars and talking to people.

Mt. Hammy there were cars that were a frickin half mile away.

If you did the meet at the naval ground the "scene" would be INSIDE and all the video and photography would be focused around those cars. It's your decision on what you want to do.

Hell I played frizbee for like 2 hours after everyone was gone.

Basically.. NO place is going to be perfect. Hammy was central but HOT as hell and some douche crashed every year. Last year was friggin far away from a huge portion of most people and in some folks opinions apparently too spread out. But the temp was good and the location was nice.

The naval base people would find something to ***** about. And i-club doesn't kick down for this so we can't really afford what would probably cost damn near $8000 to put on. How many people would show up to $150 entrance fees? These other clubs can put things on there because they have funding. Our meets are really just big BBQ's.

If someone wants to elevate it to one of those huge events... which I have even pocked at in the past it would need to be taken that way full on. No half assing and we'd loose what it's suppose to be.

Just some thoughts there.

Everyone is NEVER pleased. That's why I like the committee idea. Get a broader intake of information and cover more bases. Plus one person isn't left doing all the work and taking all the finger point... and there is accountability with finances among other things.

Last year we had some professional cooks do some AMAZING work on the grill! They made basic hamburgers taste so damn good!!!
Umm, I'm on one of the three grilles, so you only have two more to find.

Perhaps if 455h0l3 picks up the third, we'd have our dream team of grille masters.
