GSP disappointing again, Shields also was pretty lame. You have this once in a lifetime shot at the title, why not give it your all and if you get knocked out at least its better then going to decision where you know you'll lose...

Love Fedor, Love Dan Hen, but that stoppage was definitely a little premature. Looked like Fedor passed out for a split second but came to on the second hit; he was rolling back around to reestablish his guard when Herb Dean called it early. How utterly disappointing.

Dana & the Fertittas have made huge strides over the last decade in furthering the sport & overcoming the stigma MMA held early on!

So this past Sun's show was re-aired on NBC last night?
I was surprised how well Bendo (aka Smooth) manhandled Miller who was tearing thru the middle of the LW pack. I thought Jim was ranked a li'l high on the pecking order coming into the fight w/ Ben, so I'm glad Jim got the experience against higher level talent. I like Miller but I was bummed he kinda dissed the guys coming fr WEC.
Cerrone looked good, too. The LW contender hunt just got crazier! Here's my handful that are in the mix... Guida, Guillard, Pettis, Henderson, Miller w/ Cerrone & Siver just a hair outside. Once Edgar-Maynard 3 goes down as well as the fights that Guillard, Pettis & Siver have in Oct, things should get real interesting. Plus, Sherk is due back fr injury later in the year and Strikeforce champ Melendez can still shake things up (though he signed a multi-year deal earlier in the year).
Dunno if anyone catches Bellator but Alvarez is a top 3 LW overall in my estimation.
