Today at AutoHQ (8-1-08)
More suspension tuning on STI (now that we can drive it without rubbing the fenders)
Finished a brake job on 02 WRX.
If you've ever visited the shop and noticed a line of old, junkie looking cars in the parking lot that don't run...yeah, we worked on the yellow one today too, but it's too ugly for photos.
Have a good weekend, more pictures to come tomorrow.
Tomei products still selling cheap. Check our forum for details.
Thank you.
Brandon

Today at AutoHQ (08-04-08):
Hell yeah for the 8th annual BAIC meet yesterday! It was awesome. I loved chilling with everyone in our crew and we had a great time.
Check out pictures of our crew at www.autoheadquarter.com/events
Thanks to Stevens Creek for giving me some awesome BBQ ribs for lunch and dinner!
Paul from DBtuned was just as funny and nice in real life--thank you. Plus, he was giving out free shirts!
Thanks to all the sponsors and organizers for making the meet great.
Thanks to everyone who brought their clean cars out for show. And thanks to all the people who took pictures (I didn't even bring our camera!)
As always I was impressed by the super clean and hella flush MachIII showing. Also, many sick cars I had never seen before were very clean and beautiful.
Congratulations to Ryan who was voted Best in Show, and to darkonion who was voted (and proudly so) Biggest Post *****. Yes...the trophy DID say "Post *****."
The first two pictures are some of our team applying stickers at our shop until 2 am Saturday morning.
As for the point of this thread....today at AutoHQ.
1. Silver WRX towed in last night (and I came over to push it into the garage for overnight) for clutch repair. When we opened the shop this morning, it would not go into gear. The car was towed to us and the owner expected to drop a few hundred to replace the clutch. Literally two minutes after I passed the keys to Kevin, he was taking it for a road test around the block. We parked it in the lot and later that day handed over the keys to the owner, no charge and no more repairs needed.
2. Blue WRX towed in for diagnosis and repairs following a do-it-yourself up-pipe install at home.
3. The old supercharged VW still being put back together, one pain in the butt VW problem at a time.
4. A little tune up on a well-known blue and red/pink STI.
5. Sam's friend broke down in this beater Honda and dropped it at the shop for diagnosis.
6. 99 Prelude dropped off for major service tomorrow.
7. Not shown--diagnosed two month old engine-bay noise from late model Toyota sedan. Luckily for owner, just some heat shield rattle. But the car will be back soon for minor service.
In other news...a friend of mine gave me some surprise help by expertly removing old stickers from my car while I wasn't paying attention. He then sagely, or slyly, offered that if I let him borrow my car for a weekend he'll cut out my fender vents!
But with so many people aging into luxury cars, I still want to show Subaru owners around the world a better alternative--Chargespeed vented fenders! Yeah! Say, "Take that Z3!"
Thank you everyone!

Thanks Brandon.
At the meet, Brandon asked me about t-shirts. If anyone is interested in picking up one, let me know. FYI. When you make something at CafePress, and you order 15+ of a particular item, they usually do a bulk price.
For the tshirts, they come out to about $13 shipped. Not too bad.
