Anyone know which of the local shops has a lot of CVT experience?

I have a 2012 outback (~120k miles) that idles at hard stop with the anti skid light coming on, read that its likely the torque converter and apparently somewhat common for the CVT transmission. Would prefer to stay away from the dealerships if possible

Never had any major issues like this with my 04 impreza well past 250k miles, this is pretty disappointing.

I am not sure too many shops work on the CVTs. You are probably better off letting the dealer look at it. There's a TSB out for the CVTs on those cars so that might even be what you have going on - my daughter has an '11 Outback.
