Sorry for the last minute, but.....RALLY CROSS/SCHOOL this weekend!

Due to me thinking someone else was going to post this, and someone else thinking someone else was going to post this, it didn't get done, so....apologies.

If any of you hava no plans this weekend and really want to learn how to slide around all proper-like in their Suby, Paul Eklund's school is going off up in Santa Rosa (Fairground).

The usually Sunday RallyX will also be had, so for $60 you can show up and whoops some *** if that's your thing. Or just test out those new snow tires you bought for this winter!

$60 at the door, $55 pre-pay (but you gotta pre-pay by tomorrow...again, sorry)

Primitive Racing Performance Parts (click on Rally school) for rally school info. Paypay for the rallyX is the last paypal option on that page.

Thanks!
Jon B.

Also my car is lowered on coilovers would it get completely destroyed? Or would a stock/ raised height be needed

Just like an auto-cross but on dirt....you get 3-4 runs (probably 4)....each run about 1 min 30 seconds.

Compete in your class, timed, with results.

How low? I ran my WRX on Bilstein PSS9's and that lowered it an inch or so but didn't really hurt my car.

The Sonoma County Fairgrounds parking lot that we use is actually pretty nice....no big hidden rock and it doesn't get very rutted up, so clearance is usually not an issue unless you're slammed.

One year we had a new corvette run w/o issue. Lots of folks will use painters tape on the bumper/doors/rocker panels to avoid the little nicks from getting sideways.

Definitely interested. going to try to talk my buddy into going. My sti has about a 1 finger gap all around. I've been meaning to put my primitive skid plates to use.

You will not be disappointed if you've never done a RallyX before. It is a TON of fun. Plus, that's what these cars were MEANT to do! :P If you've already participated in a RallyX then you know exactly how much fun it is and should already be signed up!!

Had a ton of fun spectating today. Glad I was able to snap some pictures of everyone. If anyone wants more photos of their run, I think that I have a few of each car. Shoot me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll sent them on over. If any of the organizers want photos too I'll be happy to send them.

And if you know how to get in touch with the non i-club folks who ran today, please feel free to send them a link to this thread.

-Andy
