Just like I said, the Canucks have bad defense and a mediocre goalie. Unfortunatly we again were victim to some bull **** penalties which leads to momentum changes and then goals against. I like how Kessler fell backwards before Murray even came close to touching him, even VS caught it on camera and they love everyone but the Sharks. We should have had that game for sure, just lost it in the third.

Once again it comes down to playing a full 60 minutes. The Sharks are notorious for only bringing 40 or so at best. Just because there is a lead doesn't mean you can back down and relax. You can not play 'protect the lead' in the playoffs. Ever. If SJ doesn't get their crap together this series will see six games but it won't be SJ making it past.
Bad calls are going to happen. The key is to not get rattled and just continue to play the system. The playoffs usually see refs put their whistles away, but this season has been different in that they are calling all sorts of odd stuff. Too bad. It happens. Just go out and deal with it. Don't waver. That is a big key to being successful.
The Ginger Twins... yes, they've had a rough playoffs so far, but that isn't an excuse to let them have even the slightest hint of a chance. They can heat up very fast and if they do it's likely lights out. It's unreal watching them play togeter. I'd actually call it creepy. They just know where the other one is and exactly what they're about to do. My sisters are identical twins (careful, boys... careful) and they have the same thing going. It's really weird to watch.
As for the cheating in the faceoff circle, well everyone does that. Watch Joe when he goes to take a faceoff. He doesn't stop moving. It's just another way to get a bit of an edge and hopefully win the draw.
After last night I really hate to say this, but... Canucks just might be able to put this away in 6. I honestly hope I'm wrong.
Edited because I speel gud.

Turned off the game after Canucks went up by 1. Disgusted that the Sharks go into cruise control when they lead and start playing not to lose (football's version of prevent defense).

You are right though to some extent when the sharks have a lead late in the game they do a simple dump and chase and don't have much of a forecheck. But you could see the sharks hit a brick wall in the third, skated slow and turned over the puck in the neutral zone, not sure if we can blame the fatigue on the 7 game series they had prior.
I have faith the sharks will take it in 6 still, no problem. They just need to maintain a 2-1-2 low forecheck and out skate vancouver to the puck as well as play more physical against them to create turn overs.

Sharks are great at giving up goals in bunches.... you'd figure after one goal, they'd really tighten up and know that they're susceptible to giving up one or two more. Again, that play with "impending doom" really ends the game after the opponent scores 1 goal. ESPECIALLY in the 3rd.

**sigh** They had so many bad penalties against them and the refs didnt call the two obvious high sticks that both drew blood. I think the refs are ruining this series, and it definitely changes the mood of the players.
5 power plays for the Canucks in game 1 and 1 for us, 6 for the Canucks this last game and 2 for us. . .such bull ****. I hope they win game 3...
