anyone live in this area?!

its the 1st exit north of golden gate bridge.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...=15&iwloc=addr

wandered there the other day... seemed like a nice little neighborhood but i saw a LOT of homes of sales... are they all falling off the hillside or is it the economy.

I do installs there all the time. They have some REALLY nice homes. some of the roads there are really narrow (but then again, im driving through there with a chevy express 2500 van). I think that would be considered mill valley area. I was talking to one of my clients and he told me that alot of the homes telling are really really expensive so maybe thats why people are selling.

that's Sausalito, probably one of the most expensive places to live iin all the country. Mostly for those views you were talking about.

Yeah Sausalito is not cheap,

http://www.city-data.com/city/Sausalito-California.html

but there are lots more expensive places- Sausalito doesn't even make in the top 5 in the bay area;

http://www.city-data.com/city/Los-Al...alifornia.html
http://www.city-data.com/city/Kentfield-California.html
http://www.city-data.com/city/Hillsb...alifornia.html
http://www.city-data.com/city/Tiburon-California.html
http://www.city-data.com/city/Belvedere-California.html

(not sure if these are the top 5, but median housing in all of them is more than Sausalito)

I'm sure Alamo and Diablo can hit that list!
