Included map of Corral location. We will be next to Lamborghini and Corvettes Corrals on the Lakebed on the outside of Turn 5 (as indicated by the blue arrow). This is a really nice spot. Tickets can be purchased in the Classifieds section.

We have our first car corral at Laguna Seca scheduled for May 1-3, 2015
Tickets are in. I worked with Laguna Seca event management and we now have a car corral at Turn 5. I've pre-purchased 20 2-day tickets (Sat/Sun) at 20% discount and also 20 parking passes:
Ticket prices:
- 2 day (Sat/Sun) admission ticket per person: $52 (normally $65 online).
- Subaru Car Corral parking pass per vehicle (good for Fri-Sun): $25 (same as online)
- 12 years and under free so bring the family.
Let me know if you're interested. I've set up a paypal account and can mail you the tickets or hand them to you at the Philz meet.

3 weeks to the race. Get your discounted tickets before they run out. Cost for a two day ticket is less than a single ticket for Sunday.

I'm proposing a caravan down to the race on Saturday morning from Philz Coffee in Cupertino. The first race is at 8:40am. Takes about 1.5 hrs from the south bay. If we leave at 7am we'll make it there for the first race.

2 days to the race.
The caravan down to Laguna Seca will be from Philz Cupertino at 7am to arrive by the 8:30am / first race of the morning for those that want to go early - or just meet up at the race otherwise.
The forecast this weekend is 53 in the morning to 62 in the afternoon. I've been there when it's chilly in the morning and warms up in the afternoon but I guess it's not going to be that way but just be prepared for any type of weather.
Things to consider bringing:
- A jacket as it also can get quite windy on the hill behind the corkscrew
- Some sunscreen (or a hat) might also be prudent
- A folding chair (for those times when you want to sit down and relax in the shade by the corkscrew). I usually bring a very small folding cloth seat from Daiso for portability that fits in my backpack. The grandstands are bleachers so you could bring a stadium chair if you wish.
- A cooler with water and some food/snacks. The food prices aren't that bad and available through out the paddock area.
- A camera. You can get some great shots in the paddock and throughout the course.
- Some money if you want to pick up any souvenirs (your admission ticket allows for program guide that shows all the cars per race)
- Some earplugs for those bringing kids as some cars can get very loud especially around turn 3.

Apologies for late notice. Caravan time changed to 9am for the late birds. My son will take rollers of those that drive down with us at 9am. We'll get there by the second race of the morning.

Two of us are caravaning down at 10am from Philz. That'll get us there for the Open Grid Walk / Pit lane. The Tudor finals are at 1pm-3:45pm.
If you get there early please park at a diagonal and remember we have parking for up to 40 cars so let's make the most of the space and spread out.
Lastly - Our caravan today was foto bombed by a Lambo.

Thanks to everyone that came out this past weekend. We had a decent turnout but a bit lower than anticipated due to the mayweather/pacquiao fight.
If people are interested I can coordinate another Corral for Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion (aka Historics) on August 13-16. Again the minimum is 20 cars and I would do a group buy with Laguna Seca Event Management within the next couple of weeks to secure our spot.
For future events if more people start signing up we can have a "parade lap". Porsche had one this weekend with 38 cars and the upcoming Rolex Historics there are Ford Mustang parade laps schedule Sat & Sun.
