[B]Thread Update:
Time for our 2nd car corral at Laguna Seca scheduled for August 14-16, 2015
The Subaru Car Corral for the Rolex Monterey Sports Reunion (aka Historics) August 14-16 is now open for purchase. We have been allocated 20 spots and they can accommodate more if needed. Parking passes can be purchased directly from event management at:
https://oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/mrl...y/quickbuy/178
I didn't pre-purchase the admission tickets or parking passes this time. If people are interested in a group buy I can coordinate.
Saturday admission tickets are $80. Sunday are $60.
Two day tickets (sat & sun) = $110.
Subaru Corral Parking pass = $25
Background:
If you’ve ever been to a Laguna Seca event and had to park in general parking up on the back hill, in the dirt lot, then you know it’s not ideal. Yes it’s free but it’s far from the action and you have to navigate through the ruts, roots and rocks - far from ideal for those with body kits.
An option is to park in a “Car Corral”. These are premium parking areas for car club members between turns 5 & 2. There are car corrals for BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Mazda, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Corvette, Fiat/Lancer/Barth, Jaguar, Lotus, Morgan, Nissan, Pantera, Shelby, and Sunbeam Tiger.

I forgot to coordinate a car corral for this month's Continental Tire Grand Prix. I parked at the Mazda car corral two years ago when I had my Miata and it was great being closer to turns 2 & 5.

Saturday admission tickets for 3 people is 80×3=240. Car corral is $25 for total of $265. I do like that 12 yrs old and under are free. Makes it easier for families with kids.

Can you sign me up to go tentatively. Does anyone have a garage in the area? Trying to bring my dads orig owner c2 but I need to keep it in a garage over night. Otherwise I'll be bringing at least 1 subaru, might bring one anyway.

A bunch of my friends are corvette guys ( I am too). They all got to park in the corral at le mans. Would be super nice for us to be able to do that, especially at the le mans race.

yep i agree. It was horrible not having parking last weekend at the race. Had to really off road in some ****ty spots and got that limestone dust crap all over, it was bad. Never in all my years has it been like this. Usually they just wet the regular dust, the crushed white rock seemed to have an affect on my paint. Also I was bottom out in a ton of spots with stock ride height. It was like parking at Infineon, crap. No more bringing nice cars without inside parking.
